In order to do things like sex the snake, mark it, and/or inject an RFID tag for unique identification, you do have to handle the snake. To do this, we maneuver the front part of its body into a plastic tube narrow enough that it can't turn around, thus immobilizing its head. This took forever, because, like the rest of us, snakes don't like being shoved into tubes. Unfortunately I couldn't get a picture of the process, but this is the result.

(Note: DO NOT TRY THIS WITHOUT SUPERVISION BY AN EXPERIENCED HERPETOLOGIST OR WILDLIFE BIOLOGIST!!! I'm a wildlife biologist and I've had training in handling venomous snakes. A rattlesnake bite will definitely send you to the hospital in excruciating pain, and could kill you. So please, don't trifle with them!)

Friday, May 30th - Met the girls to see Sex and The City. Was good to get out of the house and be around a pack of people who love you. Needed it. Badly. The two martinis and two margaritas didn't hurt either. Feeling no pain when taking this photo.

How do I ask a co-worker, of the opposite sex out ?

I work 2nd shift, the co-worker of the opposite sex works 1st shift. We chat at times when we pass, not just hi, hello, how you doing, more in depth. I don't know what to say, I guess I'm a little affraid. When we do talk it is good conversation, not stupid talk. She seems to listen, not just standing there to listen, or ever saying well i got to be going.The weekend is probably the only time we could hang out , because of our conflicts of shifts. She seems like she has a good shoulder on her head, from previous conversations. We have LOL at things said, in a joking maner. I don't even know if she has children, or even a boyfriend, or a place of her own. What do I do, or say next ? PLEASE HELP ! THANK YOU !
