Question by John T: Is it normal to lose all interest in sex after intercourse?

My girlfriend is getting angry with me because she wants oral sex *after* I orgasm, and I tried explaining to her that I lose interest in sex after I come; I feel really tired and I would rather rest. I mean, I'll still cuddle with her even though I feel exhausted after the act, but I never thought about this before. Is it normal for a man to completely lose interest like this?

Yes. 100% normal. It's called the refractory period.
